This Privacy Policy explains how Maya Luxury Transportation ("Maya," "we," "us," or "our"), a luxury airport and executive chauffeur service based in Georgia serving the Atlanta metro, collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you visit mayaluxurytransportation.com (the "Site") or request our services. By using the Site or submitting a booking request, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you submit a booking request or contact us, we collect the details you enter, which may include your name, phone number, email address (optional), pickup and drop-off locations, travel date and time, service type, flight number, number of passengers and bags, child-seat needs, your language preference, and any notes or special requests.
Information collected automatically
If you allow analytics in our cookie notice, we collect limited technical data through Google Analytics — such as your device type, browser, approximate location, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site. Analytics stays off until you allow it. Our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) also keeps standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security and to operate the service. If you choose a language on the Site, that preference and your cookie choice are stored in your browser's local storage so the Site remembers them.
Address suggestions
When you type in a pickup or drop-off field, the text you type is sent to Google Maps Platform (Places API) to show address suggestions. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Address fields keep working as free text if suggestions are unavailable.
Text messaging information
If you text us, or ask us to text you about a ride, we keep your mobile number and the messages we exchange in order to confirm and coordinate that ride.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your booking requests and provide, schedule, and coordinate transportation services;
- To contact you about your ride by phone, text, or email;
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our services;
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and spam, and to comply with legal obligations.
3. Text Messages
We do not run an automated text-messaging or marketing program, and there is nothing to subscribe to. If you text 470-963-8824, or ask us to text you about a booking, Emre replies personally from that number to confirm and coordinate your ride.
You can ask us to stop at any time — reply STOP or call us — and we will not text you further. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run our business, with:
- Service providers that operate the Site and store booking requests on our behalf — Google Firebase (website hosting and Cloud Firestore, which stores your booking request so we can see and respond to it), Google Maps Platform (address suggestions as you type), Google Fonts (typefaces load from Google's servers, which receive your IP address), and Google Analytics (website analytics, only if you allow it);
- Please note: under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the use of analytics partners can be considered "sharing" of personal information even when no money changes hands. You may opt out of analytics as described in Section 5.
- Legal and safety recipients, when required by law or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others.
5. Cookies & Similar Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for Google Analytics to understand traffic and improve the experience. Analytics is off until you allow it in the cookie notice, and you can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of the home page. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on. We do not use advertising cookies. Your language preference and cookie choice are kept in local storage on your device. Third-party services we load (Google Maps, Google Fonts) may use their own cookies or identifiers under their own policies.
6. Data Retention
We keep booking and contact information only as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business records, and comply with legal and tax obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You may ask us to delete your booking information at any time using the contact details below.
7. Your Privacy Rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of it, to correct it, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. To the extent our use of Google Analytics is considered "sharing" under the CCPA, you may opt out by choosing "Essentials only" in the cookie notice, disabling cookies, using Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, or emailing us a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
EU/EEA & UK residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to data portability and objection. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract (your ride), your consent, and our legitimate interest in operating the service.

8. Data Security
The Site is served only over HTTPS, and booking requests are stored in Google Cloud with access limited to authorized accounts. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
Our Site links to and relies on third-party services such as Google (Maps, Fonts, Analytics). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties; their use of your information is governed by their own policies.
11. Governing Law
This Policy and any dispute relating to it are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly.
